Dear Stkraider1,

I bought into NCB because it is the market leader in its sector (port operator)
Cymao is not :p:

However the volume is sucky hence not much interest in the counter

Actually i bought NCB under my income portfolio.

The dividend quite good yield exceeding 7% p.a. and reasonable appreciation of 20%, i m happy of its performance although volume is thin.

For Cymao i m investing under My Deep undervaluation or turnaround portfolio !

0748 GMT [Dow Jones] Timber stocks down on weak industry outlook, a trader says; Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister A. Kohilan Pillay was quoted by Bernama as saying Tuesday that Malaysia's timber and timber product exports likely to decline this year due to global economic slowdown; "there is some selling pressure on timber stocks probably because of the uncertain outlook for the industry, since demand for timber comes mainly from major markets like the U.S. and Europe," says the trader. Lingui (2011.KU) slipped 0.7% to 68 sen, Jaya Tiasa (4383.KU) shed 2.3% to MYR2.09 and WTK (4243.KU) was down 1.9% at MYR1.06. (MKH)

Well I guess timber is very related to contruction and I think that could be lots of alternative to timber.

check the website globalwood.com to see the latest prices and some useful reports.
