Hello xiaokhong,
are you interested in buying Gamuda from a trading perspective or from an investing perspective?
Since you are new, i wouldn't know if you intend to buy Gamuda as a 'trader' or as an 'investor'. That's why I asked.

Gamuda has had so many issues lately. I think most is still valid for the long term investor to be weary.
1. First the boss sold a lot of shares - is there a deeper reason for why he sold?
2. Political issues regarding its local projects.
3, Gamuda has massive development projects in Vietnam. Now Vietnam is a country with some very immediate concern - extremely highly inflation - 25%, and interest rates above 14% (u can read it here: http://sahamas.net/forum9/6341.html ) and Gamuda felll recently from 3.20 due to this issue (u can read it here http://sahamas.net/forum74/6322.html )
4. With inflation on the up, the overhead cost is a huge factor (steel, cement prices all up). Margins (net profits) would surely be impacted.
How?
So why do you think that 2.55 is a good price for long term investment in Gamuda? Are you attracted just cos of the absolute stock price (ie stock has fallen a lot)?

Traders buy baby cow at lower price and sell it at higher price therefore profit from the price difference. It does not matter whether the process takes long or short, as long as he/she can profit from the exchange of goods.
Investors buy baby cow but wait for it to grow up so that it will supply susu and breed more baby cows. Investors sell the cow only when ze cannot supply susu n breed. The process usually takes long.
Obviously u wanted to buy a baby cow because you believe someone will buy from you at higher price if it rebound later.
