how could we trust you if you cant even make money in the virtual game?
Anyway I apologize for the joke. However Mr. Goh, investing/trading is not about making money only...you still have a very long journey to become a good investor/trader, and you may not able to survive the journey if you think you are a talented investor/trader with your existing knowledge. Market will fool you, shake you, torture you and squeeze every single cent from your pocket until you are permanently eliminated from stock market.
May the jedi force be with you.

Goh,
If u lose money in the bursa pursuit, how to support when u have no track record ?
I remember when i was young as a student i have the same view as u to make money from the stockmarket.
But how to gather capital ?
1)Must have some capital so all may saving is Rm 2,000.
2)Increase my capital part time job Rm 300 per month, tuition Rm 150 per month, pocket money Rm 100 per month =Rm 650 expenses Rm 80 = savings Rm 570 per month.
3) After saving for 6 mth my capital increase to Rm 6500.
4)Get 10 classmate and friend to join venture at Rm 500 per person raised Rm 5000.Total start up capital Rm 11500.Borrow from aunty Rm 3000 and uncle Rm 2000 interest rate 8% p.a.
5)Total fund managed Rm 16,500.At that time although i m confident of my ability in investment, i m risk adverse bcos cannot afford to lose.
6)Best is start low risk project that is share applications with 11 names there is a good probability of striking at least 1 successful applications each IPO, bcos at that time oversubsriptions is about 6 time.
7)AVG Profit from selling successful IPO share on day 1 is Rm 1300.
8)Turn this business over 12 mths generate about Rm 1300 x 12 = Rm 15,600.
9)Continue to turn for another 2 years total capital generated Rm 92,000 after interest.
10)At this point govt tighthen regulation very difficult to continue with this business.
11)Business value;
Capital Rm 92,000
Less loan Rm 5000
Networth Rm 87,00
Distribution per Rm 1 share=Rm 7.56
My share = Rm 49,140.
At the age of 23 i have a small capital of Rm 70k (Business plus my own savings) for investment.
This capital i obtained when i m still studying in the university at that time this not bad.( bcos at that time a New Graduate Bank officer with Malayan Banking only draw Rm 1300 per month or Rm 18k p.a. with bonus!)
The moral is that :
a)In order to raise fund u must show commitment to come up with your seed capital.
b)U can organize capital pooling with known friends bcos easier bcos they know u.
c)If can, talk to relative that know u well for a small loan give them interest.
d)Most important u must find investment niche which had low risk and not to gamble away your capital (sometime stockmarket transactions u may think it is an investment but the actual fact u are gambling!).
5)Continue work hard and saves.
6)U can get sponsor if u show results, work hard and do your part.

Give it up Mr Goh...

All this people here have experience in the stock market and they are more or less knowledgeable or else they won't be posting in this forum..
Besides it's unethical and illegal to solicit client this way.. go check SC rules
Peace.

On an entirely separate note I must say that the quality of our current local graduates are rather lacking....
And people call me an optimist..
