Ok. Melati Ehsan is not C&P. But is it forming a double bottom pattern now? I doubt because not know whether the thin volume need to be consider. This few days push up after 4p.m. if not mistaken. Reason not chase is afraid of being trap by chart purposely drawn by the pusher (or I do not have to bother this, just based on what the chart shown?). My entry is at 151-153 (+ latest 164) when I thought that it is a possible C&P, & 151 is slightly above 50% fibonacci retracement.

One more question: Double bottom form in an uptrend stock & Double bottom form in a down trend stock.. which one has more potential? Why?

yeah.. too shallow and volume is not convincing. The last two green price and volume spike not too long ago might haunt further price advance.

Thanks for all the kind opinion & comments above.

JB, looking at the short term view, I can't tell the difference.

Looking at the long term view, err... the uptrend stock (index) is more attractive.

I raise the question because the word 'Bottom' make me think of MAYBE the downtrend stock is bottom out & have better chance of rebound & less downward risk.

But now looking at your chart makes me think that MAYBE I can say the correction on the uptrend stock has bottom out, hence the possibilty of resuming the uptrend makes it worth to make an entry & since it is in the up trend, it stand better chance than the downtrend stock?

Correct arr?

volume is one of the most important thing in TA. afaik, i would pay a serious attention on volume, even when all the other indicators are triggered. imagine a ctr with only 1000lot per day, and been up up like crazy for the past 2 days.. it easily could be 1/2 man play :D
so yeah, do pay attention on the volume...

( some people would prefer a relative volume here, so when a stock which is generally trading at 1000-2000 suddenly maintaining a 10k-20k that would be a sweet increase, and worth more attention.. thats' just my 2 cents lah :D)
