1.
Upon the expiry date, company ABC will have the right to either convert the warrant into share or just let it expire if the convertion price + warrant price is less than the mother share. Is this correct?
No. it's compulsory because the company has the obligation to exercise the conversion upon the expiry, even if it's out of money, again, just no one stupid enough to exercise it.
CB, I'm pretty confuse with your statement here. My understanding is that:
Company is NOT cumpulsory nor it is their obligation to execise the conversion upon the expiry.' Warrant is the right purchase by the warrant holder mah....the right of exercising it right confer by the warrant or not is in the hand of the warrant holder.
2. It makes no sense to me that if a Company can purchase its own warrant and convert it. Company cannot issue shares to itself mah. Company at present can only buy back its own shares under certain restriction, even this is already a big give way already.
Correct arr?

1. Sorry for the confusion. I meaned if the warrant is out of money but the warrant holders insist to exercise it, then the company must covert it.
For warrant holders, they alway has right but not an obligation to exercise the warrant, right? So the company cannot say no even if warrant holders insist to do something stupid.
2. Yes you are right. Theoretically they cannot buyback its own warrant.

| I would like to raise the questions of share dilution, capital repayment, special dividends. Are call warrants automatically adjusted for all these issues ?

Usually call warrants are adjustable to capital repayment in form of cash, bonus issues and share split only.
However, I'm not sure what's the changes in the revised base prospectus. Please check the latest base prospectus with their issuers for further confirmation.

Usually warrants are not entitle to dividen but i'm not sure that was the case 10 years back.

| Never heard of warrant will get dividend. Only ordinary shares get dividend. Preference shares also can get depend on their terms.
