Hi, I am currently doing some research on Bursa Malaysia on UMA.

Can someone tell me how does the exchange define"UMA", and when did the query system been first employed by the exchange?

Thanks!

If you are doing research, try going to Bursa website: http://www.bursamalaysia.com/website/bm/index.jsp

And if you still cannot find exactly what you want, try contacting them, http://www.bursamalaysia.com/website/bm/contact_us.html

It is a grey area. And I suppose the real definition of UMA is not meant for the public.

Basically, those who have stock market experience (Especially bursa ppl) should be able to spot the potential UMA the moment it begin...but then we as a small little retailer only see the UMA query at the final phase of the distribution. Depending on IH's mercy, u may or may not see a series of limit down.
